Kelly Vallerie is an Indonesian fashion designer who was born and raised in Bali. She found her brand in 2015 with a studio based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
She has graduated as “Best Collection 2016” of Fashion Design Program from LaSalle College Jakarta in April 2016. Her graduate collection was selected to be shown in Jakarta Fashion Week 2016 and selected as a Black Sheep member on Not Just A Label Website.
After graduation, she worked as a Fashion Designer in various places with extremely different brand aesthetics and types of companies, such as ready to wear local brand, high-end designer label, retail brand, and textile company.
Kelly Vallerie won Asian New Generation Fashion Awards (ANFA) held by Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia in March 2019.
In October 2019, Kelly Vallerie from Indonesia has been crowned the winner of Harper’s BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Award 2019 in the final round of the Asia Regional competition, she walks away with a year-long master's degree scholarship at Istituto Marangoni and a cash prize of $10,000.
KELLY VALLERIE is a conceptual brand affected by warrior attitude, presenting the unification of avant-garde and ready to wear. KELLY means “Warrior”, VALLERIE means “Strong and Brave”.
Avant-garde yet versatile, Kelly Vallerie creates multifunctional transformer garments, innovative extreme cuttings, and artisanal details. The garments have muted colour palettes of black, off white, and earth tones. The brand generates experimental constructions through complex structures and deep understandings of pattern making.
Multifunctional, artisanal, and flexible are the main words of the products. Designed with thorough and selective selection processes that create transformable pieces with unique constructions. Each piece is made of high-quality and comfortable materials with touch of artisanal artworks. We provide wearable high-end ready to wear products with high-quality materials, multifunctional transformer designs, and artwork details. Items are available to pre-order ready or produce with a limited edition.
KELLY VALLERIE PRIMARY (Basic Items)
We present our pieces in simple versions, in the form of daily basic items without any heavy details, focusing on simplicity and comfortability. We produce these items in a bigger quantity.
